The Baby Patent 'Aqua Scale' allows you to bathe your new-born and monitor their weight at the same time. Being version 3 of the product, the design brief was to create a softer, less industrial design from their previous model while shrinking the overall size to allow for a more online sale and delivery friendly design. We worked together with the marketing team at Baby Patent to tick all these boxes. The product was a huge success and is now sold all over Australia and the US
All Our projects undergo a rigorous conceptual phase where we explore many different in the areas of function, ergonomics, aesthetics, materials and manufacturing possibilities.
We use high level hand sketching techniques, physical models and 3d computer modelling to develop design concepts. We present that process to out clients to display how we arrive at certain decisions in the design process. This process and the hands on involvement of our clients is how we are able to arrive at polished design concepts
The finished product is a culmination of the entire design process. With our extensive experience in manufacturing we are able to offer our handling of production and guide out clients through the complicated fabrication process painlessly .
