Designed for Ototo, a home and kitchen utensil company that bases itself on satirical, loud and playful design.
The aim was to design a colander with its own personality. A number of different concepts were presented including a sumo and a whale design. The fish one through for its cute ironic design.
All Our projects undergo a rigorous conceptual phase where we explore many different in the areas of function, ergonomics, aesthetics, materials and manufacturing possibilities.
We present that process to out clients to display how we arrive at certain decisions in the design process. This process and the hands on involvement of our clients is how we are able to arrive at polished design concepts
