Wagner Meters, an American based company approached Forem Design with the goal of redesigning their industrial timber moisture meter. The product is used in timber production to measure the moisture content of timber throughout the drying process.
The design brief involved the development of a more modern design with heavy emphasis of ergonomic function for the user as it is a device used in a work environment.
All Our projects undergo a rigorous conceptual phase where we explore many different in the areas of function, ergonomics, aesthetics, materials and manufacturing possibilities.
We present that process to out clients to display how we arrive at certain decisions in the design process. This process and the hands on involvement of our clients is how we are able to arrive at polished design concepts
